The first Slovak Tokaj beer, which was created by combining two top brands - the family winery TOKAJ MACIK WINERY and the craft brewery KALTENECKER. This unique collaboration has produced a beer that combines the tradition of Tokaj with the modern style of craft beer.

What does TOKAJ IPA taste like?

The golden colour with copper tones and orange highlights is just the beginning. The aroma is dominated by fresh grapefruit notes with hints of fresh grape cider and young aromatic wine. The palate will impress you with a perfect harmony of citrus freshness and slightly sweet raisin notes balanced by a pleasant bitterness. A distinctive mousse completes the whole gourmet experience with its creaminess.

THE LINK BETWEEN TOKAY AND BEER

TOKAJ IPA is a semi-dark unfiltered beer of the AMERICAN IPA type, enriched with rare Tokaj onions - raisins with noble Botrytis Cinerea mould, known from the production of exclusive Tokaj wines. These onions give the beer a unique Tokaj character, but they do not make the beer sweet!

HONEST CRAFT BEER

TOKAJ IPA is made in the popular AMERICAN IPA style, which is extra hopped with new American hops. Barley malt, water and Tokay onions were used for this specialty beer.
